Little Helper boy and Open house at Windridge.

Peyton has had a busy few weeks. When it is nice outside he is out enjoying the weather. He loves the outdoors and everything that goes with it.....digging in the dirt, carrying sticks around, going on walks, plus much more. It you are not careful you will be wearing some dirt, too. lol. Andy has been working on a new patio in our backyard and Peyton decided to help, of course! We are going to love it when it is finished. It just has a few finishing touches and it will be all done. Here are a few pictures of Peyton helping out with the patio......

Taking a rest after all his hard work! He was using the carpet piece that dad was using as a pillow.
This past Saturday was "Horse and Rider" at Windridge, which is their big once a year fundraiser. Peyton was one of many riders that participated. He had a great time like always. All the riders were given a metal at the end of their ride. There were lots of people there and Mrs. Kim said that lots of people took pictures of Peyton while he was riding. I know that I did! When he was finished, Andy and I were able to give him his medal. He did not want to take it off once he had it on.

Peyton riding backwards on Star.

Peyton getting his medal and giving me a high five.
Showing off his medal!
Admiring his medal.

Visiting with our good friend Mrs. Lana Rogers.
Once we got home from Windridge we went outside to play. Daddy had brought up some sand into the backyard and that became Peyton's mountains. Have I said how much he likes to play in the dirt? He really, really likes to play in the dirt.

I AM SO THANKFUL FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE PEYTON'S FRIEND. WATCHING RIDE THE HIS HORSE STAR WAS AWSOME. THOMAS AND AVERY, MY GRAND CHILDREN ARE STILL TALKING ABOUT GETTING TO GO AND SEE PEYTON. GOING TO PLAY WITH PEYTON IS ALEAYS A PLEASURE, BUT GOING HOME IS ALWAYS DIFFICULT FOR ME. I STILL GET REALLY EMOTIONAL ABOUT MY LITTLE FRIEND. LOTS OF LOVE MIZZ MEL
